Tejas - Holidays 2008

Below are pictures of Tejas from the holidays. Unfortunately we kept forgetting our camera during trips so don't have too many pictures.
        Tejas and his daddy went to Philladelphia for 5 days without mommy. They had a very long and troubled trip requiring an emergency stay at a Holiday Inn Express and new tires. With help of Uncle Jesse, they finally made it safely. Tejas loved the two kittens Uncle Jesse and Aunt Jen have. I am not sure the feelings were reciprocated. Uncle Jesse and Aunt Jen were great hosts and read a lot of books to Tejas. I believe Uncle Jesse and Aunt Jen loved the book "Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb".
        Sunny Mama and Mommy joined on Wednesday night and enjoyed a very, very yummy Thanksgiving dinner with Aunt Jen's family. Tejas was happy to see Mommy for a few minutes but then was fascinated by the new fun Sunny Mama.
        Tejas spent Christmas in Grand Rapids where he really enjoyed unwrapping gifts. He didn't want to see what was inside but made a sport out of unwrapping the gifts. His Oma and Opa really lavished him with lots of nice gifts including wooden cars, harmonica, and lots of new books. The reading of the christmas story was quite amusing while Tejas and his cousin Kiersten were being mischievous and noisy. The next day we celebrated his cousin Kiersten's first birthday but unfortunately don't have any pictures because we forgot our camera.
        Tejas celebrated New Years in Pittsburgh where he almost stayed up until the ball dropped. He finally crashed around 11:30.
