Below are pictures of Karina and Tejas in May. Big brother Tejas adores his sister now and loves to give her hugs and kisses her almost every time he sees her. He affectionately calls her "baby sitta" or "baby sista". He also tries to feed her though gets easily distracted.
        At the beginning of this month we had Uncle Josh, Aunt Jen and cousin Kiersten visit. Tejas had a lot of fun blowing bubbles, going to the playground, and playing with Kiersten. Kiersten was very sweet with baby Karina as well and always wanted to give her a kiss.
        Sunny Mama came to visit the kids in Pittsburgh and Tejas loved the lego cars Sunny Mama gave him. Tejas loved going to the playground with Sunny Mama as he never got tired of pushing him on the swing.
        Tejas then went to see Thomas the Train. He loves choo-choo trains. He loved the train ride and asked to go again when we got off it. He also got a temporary tatoo of Harold the Helicopter on his hand which he sat and stared at from time to time.
        At the end of May we went to Grand Rapids to celbrate Grandpa John's 70th birthday. Tejas enjoyed singing Happy Birthday as he requested cake after each performance. During our trip he got to play with his cousins Kiersten and Owen. All the cousings and a few parents went to the zoo. Even though we had at least one adult for each of the four kids, it sometimes felt like we had our own zoo.
        Karina is doing well. She has started cooing and smiling. She startles every time her brother comes to kiss her. The poor life of a second child. Many say that Karina and Tejas looked a lot alike as babies so for fun we put together a page to guess who is who.
